People often ask Elisha “If you were allowed one product on a desert island, would it be a cream or a hydrosol?” and though she finds herself always going back and forth, more often than not she thinks it has to be a hydrosol. They do everything from maintain your skin’s natural pH, hydrate, soothe, moisturize, firm and stimulate circulatiion… and you can spritz them in the hair, on cuticles, feet, décolleté and press around the eyes. Elisha cannot live without them.
Rose Geranium – Draws moisture to the skin, leaving you dewy and supple while calming an overactive mind and transforming a sour mood. AVOID during first trimester of pregnancy because of potential of phytohormones.
Yarrow – Antibacterial, antiseptic and works wonders at soothing sun and wind-damaged skin. A natural styptic (stopping bleeding) makes it perfect post-shave.
Cornflower – Tones crepey, delicate and mature skin and transforms dry and devitalized skin. Cornflower is the only hydrosol that can also safely be used as an eyewash / eye drop substitute. AVOID during first trimester of pregnancy because of potential of phytohormones.
Cucumber – Tones and firms while also balancing a more oily skin. Great post-sun and outdoor adventure to soothe and cool the skin.
Neroli – Wonderful for delicate, sensitive and oily skin. To treat dry skin combine with rose and geranium.
Bulgarian Rose – Bulgarian rosewater is Elique’s holy water. Use all of the time, head-to-toe. Elisha’s Dream Experience? Bathing in it!
